马力先生中央戏剧学院教授，国家一级演员、中国戏剧最高奖梅花奖得主，中国国粹文化艺术交流协会秘书长、中国民革党员，青联委员、侨联青联委员，中央电视台京剧演员电视大赛金奖得主，文化部京剧演员展演一等奖，中国戏剧家协会会员、剧代会戏剧代表、北京剧协理事，第五届优秀京剧演员研究生班研究生，艺术硕士研究生、著名京剧表演艺术家马长礼先生入室弟子。

Mr. Ma Li is a professor at the Central Academy of Drama, National Class-A Actor, and winner of the Plum Blossom Award, China’s highest theatrical honor. He serves as Secretary-General of the China National Culture & Art Exchange Association, a member of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, member of the Youth Federation, and member of the Youth Federation of the Overseas Chinese Federation. He is the gold medalist of the CCTV National Peking Opera Actor Competition, first prize winner of the Peking Opera Actor Performance Exhibition hosted by the Ministry of Culture, member of the China Dramatists Association, delegate to the National Congress of Dramatists, and director of the Beijing Dramatists Association. He is a graduate of the 5th Outstanding Young Peking Opera Actors Postgraduate Class, holder of a Master of Arts degree, and a personal disciple of the renowned Peking Opera performing artist Mr. Ma Changli.

He starred in the Spring Festival Gala program A Myriad of Colours broadcast on CCTV-1 in 2009. His specialty is the laosheng (elderly male) role in Peking Opera, focusing on the Yu (Shuyan) School and Yang (Baosen) School. He studied under the celebrated Peking Opera performing artist Mr. Ma Changli. His representative works include Silang Visits His Mother, The Red-Maned Steed, among others.
